1. Purpose
These terms set the conditions for using the mobile application Wave Gazing (파도멍, the "app") provided by the Wave Gazing team (the "operator"). By installing or using the app you agree to these terms.
2. The service
The app is a relaxation app of a 3D sea and waves to watch: choosing the place, time of day and weather, underwater scenes, swimming as a sea turtle, the sound of the sea, a sleep timer and auto-advance. Settings are stored on your device and no sign-in is needed.
3. Free use, ads and premium
The app is free to use and shows ads (Google AdMob). Ad content is provided by advertisers; the operator does not endorse advertised products or services. Some places, times and weathers, unlimited swimming, the 60-minute sleep timer and an ad-free app come with premium. Watching a rewarded ad to the end opens premium features for one hour.
4. Subscriptions and lifetime access
- Premium is bought on Google Play as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription, or lifetime access (a single payment), at the price shown on the purchase screen.
- Subscriptions renew automatically: unless cancelled before the current period ends, the same period is charged to your Google Play account at the same price.
- The yearly subscription may include a 7-day free trial for first-time subscribers; unless you cancel before the trial ends, the yearly price is charged.
- You can cancel and manage subscriptions at any time in the Google Play app → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions; after cancelling, premium stays on until the end of the period already paid.
- Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy and applicable law.
- After reinstalling or changing devices, "Restore purchases" on the premium screen brings back purchases made with the same Google account.
5. Your responsibilities
You must not modify the app or obtain premium features by abnormal means.
6. Intellectual property
The rights to the app and its parts (pictures, sounds, scenes, code, trademarks) belong to the operator.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose or freedom from errors. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from use of the app. The app is meant to help you relax and does not replace medical treatment for sleep problems.
8. Changes to and ending of the service
The operator may add, change or end features or the service. Lifetime access buyers keep premium features for as long as the service is provided.
9. Changes to these terms
Changes are posted on this page with their effective date; continuing to use the app after posting means you accept them.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes are settled by the court with jurisdiction over the operator's location, except where mandatory laws of your place of residence take precedence.
